moaning people and maps

just a quick one

when people do make map it take a lot of time hours days weeks and can be months and patience with ut editor to make maps

if your gonna complain rather than saying this map is shit blah blah blah wile we can not and never will please all please give feed back rather than just moaning feedback is good weather it good or bad then it can be addressed if need be and problems

you are not been constructive in the community if your not giving feed back or contribution to making map but just want to bitch about maps

some of us give what little time we have spare to try and keep things going

so please please do a little bit of some thing constructive and stop moaning and give some feed back when maps are done ie feed back on bugs glitches thing not working were u think map could be improved or even if you canot use ediitor maybe some ideas on map lay outs it all constructive just saying a map is shit is of no help to any one sorry for little rant

Here's an idea, Blade, when you make a map, create a topic in this forum (UT99 Creativity), and post pictures of the map, before and upon completion, and when the map is on the server, so if anyone has any complaints, suggestions, or anything of that nature, you can direct them to the forum, to this topic.

If they choose to come, great! Then they can stress their concerns, suggestions, criticism, whatever it may be. If they choose not too and they keep the fingers moving, and keeps you from enjoying your game, simply go into Nexgen > Game > Moderator > Select the Player that keeps on yappin' > Hit (Un)Mute Button to the Right (Please DO NOT hit use Time Control).

This keeps them quiet for the time being :) Keeps you sane, me sane, us sane, the world sane. They give you anymore shit, contact RJ, Slagg or myself..

im not bothered a bout shit candy i can handle that it just listening to same old shit mate at least do something and offer something constructive to it or make some maps i my self are far from great from doing at least im trying to put something in comunity

Unfortunately, you can lead a horse to water, can't force it to drink.

It's like respect (like my friend said yesterday, I overheard him say to someone else), you can give it but some people aren't going to give it back, so fuck'em. I give respect, but not all the time do I receive it back, hence why I get called "the devil, slimy, etc.", there's reasons why, you do me wrong, I do you wrong (they call me up for something, I say no). I will always respect you, until you do me wrong. In the end, there's more people who respect me, than don't. What he was saying is, don't let it sweat you. Who gives a fuck if they don't respect you back. Go on with your day. Not everyone on this planet is going to respect you.

You make a map, I appreciate that, many of us do, we thank you for that. For those who trash, fuck'em. If it were me, I'd keep replaying them, like Joust, make'em leave. lol

We need to increase the number of maps we recently played so we dont keep revoting.

As for moaning about maps.. one of the joust maps still has a RX imbalance. I'll supplant name here when I see it again and make a fix myself.

I agree Danny. I was in on one of your newer maps and Big Jake was ragging on you about the map. That's when I chimed and said the map is fine, it just needs some very limited tweaking. Otherwise, there's nothing wrong with it. I know how much time and effort it takes to map so, I appreciate your efforts Danny. If you need any other help, please don't hesitate to contact me.

PS: I've been sick with the flu for a last 4 days. It's finally starting to die down, but it's been a very rough ride getting through. I don't ever remember having the flu, and it came on like gang busters. Took me down like a baby. Don't feel much like playing UT right now. Still pretty sick. Another few days should help to eliminate this damn flu nonsense.

I know which map you mean not sure of name like jouist v2 i think it is the second list of maps from the left right near bottom was suggest for me to fix other day but forgot

im learning kev and i will get better i put time and effort as much as possible heaving a child with disability does take a lot of my time but i put in were i can mate and do what i can thing is kev i dont mind people moaning in fact sometime it great to have criticism positive or negative then at least i know if there is problems like glitches or issues with start point or heliports triggers or a map could do ith laying out differently then i can work on it but just to rage on about things does my head in i do because i love this clan and most of the people that on this server anyways ill be remaking some maps editing some and converting some over to rx and thank you again for all previous help you have given i really appreciate your time effort with helping me as well yea had the flue my self for about 4 days ad been short lived normally it make me bad for few weeks hope you feeel better soon budddy
