VM_JoustRebornstandardweapon version

For the love of god please either fix this map or remove it. There are multiple areas on this map if flying you will crash into invisible walls on both sides of the map. In the middle it glitch's like your going through into another room even though it's wide open. Someone didn't think this one through very well. It would be fun if it actually worked right. :brick-wall

hmm just played this map and I See no issues. I can see under higher load the map would effect not so great machines. That plus ACE may be the issue for you. Otherwise works flawless for me.

It was 2 on 2 and all the maps before I had no problems. My PC is very well equipped to handle the RX maps. Ace hasn't been a problem for a while now.

I understand, but I was unable to replicate the issues you reported.

What renderer are you using Jake?
Also what version of UT are you using? Are you using the newest one? (469a?)

I heard 469a with D3D8 (or 9?) was having some issues.

using OpenGL and it's the old version. Didnt like the new version because I had some issues. Reloaded game off my GOTY cd's.

Tested it right now with you, and couldnt replicate the issue. I was using OpenGL, I did notice i had a little bit more lag with OpenGL but that is just my computer that it somehow work worst with OpenGL.

I did find myself hitting the floor when going above the first wall and then under, but that it just my flying sucks lol.

Those U shaped walls that have the rifle on them is a spot where I kept hitting nothing. I would say just a few feet away from them. I had to fly way away from them or I would crash for no reason. The center of map is kinda like a sliding door was opening before you went through. Just enough hesitation to notice it. Kinda like a quick freeze.

The map is a little laggy, but that's probably because some of the geometry is more intricate than some other maps. But I've never experienced the issues you're referring to Jake. Many others have played my map and haven't experienced the same issues either.
