I mean horrid as the movie will be good. But what takes place is gone be fucked up or horrid / disturbing.

Both with the novel and the old black & whiter movies, the Invisible Man is a horrible person and more than a bit crazy. While he came off as a good guy in the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen you have to remember that was a guy who stole the invisibility formula from the actual Invisible Man...
...although the comics for League of Extraordinary Gentlemen it was the original and he raped and murdered and various other things.
Unless you meant cringe less about the character and more the overall film, in which case I guess we'll see.
