Windows 10
Is anyone running UT on windows 10? If so, is it slow? I am getting ready to upgrade PCs but heard that someone on a different server was having an issue.

Re: Windows 10
It runs fine with Windows 10. A few things you have to pay attention to is the amount of RAM you have. Windows 10 is a resource hog, and as such, you need a minimum of 8 GBs RAM, 16 is even better. If you're not already running some form of SSD, whether a standard 2.5 in drive, or PCIe M.2 (if you have an M.2 slot on the motherboard that is), you'd be wise to upgrade. Lastly, a good video card is obviously a great asset.

Re: Windows 10
I don't think it's a hog as it can run on very crappy systems. win 10 has much better memory management than win 7 for instance. It does cache a lot of things based on the amount of ram you have though, so it may give you the impression that windows 10 is using all resources. I run win 10 on a surface pro 1 which is an i5 with 4gb ram runs great. ;) https://igotoffer.com/microsoft/microso ... ro-1st-gen=(V)=Kevster wrote: ↑Wed Apr 03, 2019 10:06 pm It runs fine with Windows 10. Basically windows 10 will utilize all system resources instead of leaving it idle. of course the more ram the better especially if using multiple tabs and browser add-ons. I agree 8Gb is the sweet spot though. 16GB + great if running VM's n such
