WiFi
So tonight my server ping was a ''perfect'' 110, but all of a sudden it went to over 200 and stayed there for a while. I left the game and checked my speed and it was lower than it should have been. I open my router's panel and checked the connected clients, but I didn't see anyone else connected but me. But I changed my password, just to be sure..and immediately everything went back to normal, both my internet speed and game ping...So, my questions:
1) Can someone connect to my wifi and somehow be able to hide his MAC address?
2) If I hide my SSID, will I be able to connect to the wifi from my tablet?

Re: WiFi
1)They can change MAC address and use a fake one most common is 11:22:33:44:55 or or 00:aa:bb:cc:dd:ee lol dont know if they can hide it? Would like to know that too.
2) If I hide my SSID, will I be able to connect to the wifi from my tablet?
Yes you will, there is an option on tables that says "Connect to a hidden network" or something like that, I think you need to use that option to access it? Dunno never tried this one.

Re: WiFi
The PC is plugged in to the modem so there is no wireless connection to it. I have a tablet connected to my wifi, but all the updates/downloads are switched off, so there is no way it was downloading anything by itself.
