It's been a hot minute since I have come on to give an update :) All is well on my end. On Sunday I will be switching from Swing Shift to Gaveyard, working from 11:23 PM to 7:53 AM.
I am still an independent business owner through a direct selling company. I am gaining customers left and right and helping them financially every month as well as feeding children across the area. It's hard, it's not easy because if it was, everyone would be doing it.
I have an elderly man who stays with me, a dear good friend and has a brilliant mind. Used to have a million dollar business until he had to sacrifice it. We're in the process of getting a house and much more coming up. Kicker is he is 80 years old AND still working harder than some of the people I know my age if not younger. Word of advice, surround yourself with people who are more successful, because they will take you under their wing and get you where you want/need.
I'm on my way to Orlando in September for a business trip (Stample, that's your area, right?) I'm training and learning more about the products and services that I offer, through the company. I have met very successful businessmen and women over the past couple of years, who are helping me achieve more than what I have already accomplished.
Other than that, I'm waiting on a settlement next year from the car accident I was in last year. With that I should be able to get another property and working on getting a few things corrected, like my overbite and Lasik.
All in God's time and all Glory to Him. I wouldn't be where I'm at if it wasn't for Him and the people He put in my life.
Also, before anyone asks, no I won't be making my return to Unreal Tournament. Retiring was bittersweet. I've burned relationships, lost great friends and made new ones but my resignation was the final nail. I believe that I accomplished exactly what I said I was going to do from the beginning of joining VM and that was that I wasn't the same kid from WINGS.
BUT! If I do return to gaming, I hope it will be in the new GTA and YES I will make an off branch of Vulpine there if it hasn't been done already. Although, that off branch won't be anything like other Vulpine branches, let's just say, most if not all, rules will not exist. After all, we're in a game where there is no rules, right?
