UT starts to run slowly here.

I too get some weird shit lately. When the server has more than 10 people, I get lag spikes close to walls. Sometimes when I fire my jet it will not fly smoothly and I have to deactivate and re-activate the afterburners to start flying smoothly. Also in maps with many details/textures, everything feels a bit like a ''slideshow'' instead of running smoothly. All these even though my ping is the same. I am not saying it's unplayable but you can easily tell the difference. No idea if TR is responsible for this, but as I have said in the private forums the problems started around the time it was changed. But lately I do see a lot of players with 100+ ping complaining of lag.

About the server u guys bought the 25 spots?
When i play in other server like (e201,ny central and etc) ping 175... when i join vm 190-220....

Maybe our server machine slow?
here i can run a virtual max server and if more than 10 players join we begin earn pl..


can we contact the host and clean this history?

We have the same host and server location with E201. I don't think that's the problem

Miko you are leaving a space between "-t", you have "- t"
It needs to be exactly the same as written here

@RJ what does "-l" do?

In help it says it is the buffer size.

try a lower number like 1000 or 500 the reason for this is to see how well you ping with a decent amount of data being sent. if no numbers work just to ping -t serverip

I tried what Dem said ,I made a 'Backup" file for my ini UT file and reinstalled UT ,When i replaced the old UT ini file with the new one ,The whole cache and server's data were gone ,So i had to receive the whole thing again :(

Nyte I'm not good with all this when last time I had problems with my mouse settings and I try 2 days fix this then someone told me about System Restore I restore everything to moment of few days ealier and was fixed. but first consult this with someone smarter then me in this domain
