Can someone make this so the black background is transparent, please?

I can tell ya now, that will not look quite the same with the black removed due to the cross-fading of the black to red.

While this topic is alive, is there an easy explanation to creating the transparency? File type it's saved as, and maybe not a bitch to explain photoshop process can be shared?

You just make sure the area you want transparent doesn't have any color, and only TWO file types support transparency: .gif and .png. GIFs are mainly used for animations, but do not support as many colors, so you won't get as much depth. PNGs are high quality support all colors, as well as transparency. It's usually the file type used for sigs and avatars.
