Pretty old system. Seems to run with XP pretty well. I've heard getting newer hardware isn't going to help this game any.
I'm guessing getting a bigger monitor would help targeting however.

you def heard wrong lol. windows 7 plus modern hardware, and better resolutions is a huge game play difference.

I did then I upgraded to windows 7 and I got twice the fps and faster load times and better networking.

when i switched to windows 7 i had to tweak a lot of settings to get mouse feel right and fix latency issues

no issues for me. the only thing I had was the dual core fix. Then once I realized it was the bios settings for the processors all was good. Ithink it was the low power state or energy star bs

as for tweaking none really needed here.

edit: I play on a laptop too.

i had to got rid of all the energy saving crap... getting my oc fine and i think the most annoying was the c1e thing... i have a gaming laptop too but i havent bothered setting up ut correctly on it... it's an msi gt70 btw

nice my laptop isn't the best out there, but a did upgrade my stock hard drive from whatever pos slow one to a hybrid drive and it is much better.. I would have gone ssd but couldn't afford it at the time.

I have to say I have dropped this laptop 3 times and no breaks!

yea but then i find mine too wide.. i never had laptops over 15 inches, kinda tough to move it around but then i had a nice deal on it i wouldnt have find better for the specs

my screen is a 15.6 but when I play ut at home I attach my 22 inch monitor kb and mouse

I've been thinking of getting a 24 inch 144hz 1 ms gaming moniter soon and then getting a mount to mount that and my old moniter up

MSIs are the best for laptops, in my opinion. When mine eventually dies, I'll upgrade to another MSI. No regrets.
