Pretty old system. Seems to run with XP pretty well. I've heard getting newer hardware isn't going to help this game any.
I'm guessing getting a bigger monitor would help targeting however.

you def heard wrong lol. windows 7 plus modern hardware, and better resolutions is a huge game play difference.

no issues for me. the only thing I had was the dual core fix. Then once I realized it was the bios settings for the processors all was good. Ithink it was the low power state or energy star bs
as for tweaking none really needed here.
edit: I play on a laptop too.

Re: What Kind of Gaming Box Do You Have?
nice my laptop isn't the best out there, but a did upgrade my stock hard drive from whatever pos slow one to a hybrid drive and it is much better.. I would have gone ssd but couldn't afford it at the time.
I have to say I have dropped this laptop 3 times and no breaks!

I've been thinking of getting a 24 inch 144hz 1 ms gaming moniter soon and then getting a mount to mount that and my old moniter up

Re: What Kind of Gaming Box Do You Have?
MSIs are the best for laptops, in my opinion. When mine eventually dies, I'll upgrade to another MSI. No regrets.Nyuu wrote:i had to got rid of all the energy saving crap... getting my oc fine and i think the most annoying was the c1e thing... i have a gaming laptop too but i havent bothered setting up ut correctly on it... it's an msi gt70 btw
