Went looking for large maps for a request on another forum, when I found this old thing and it occurred to me you folks might like it.

Download at start of thread - https://ut99.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11721

It's MASSIVE with plenty of room to fly between bases... though I suspect an RX may run outta gas before getting to the other side, which should take about 30 to 35 seconds.

Looks cool, but I'm not a fan of the textures. Looks like it would be a blast to play though. :thumbup

Lil editing thread from over ut99.org's way...
EvilGrins wrote:The recent request thread for maps that can handle 12 to 16 players brought this map up to mind, and then moreso I recalled the Vulpine Mission forum loves to find maps to fly their RX fighters around so I sent them a link too.

Now, just because, I've been toying around with it to make it more interesting.

Mostly thinking of adding a few UTDMW, maybe a lot, as they can fly and be configured to fight on specific teams... and make things more challenging for RX fighters.

Still looking it over for where are good starting points for those.

People with lesser video cards will suffer from POLYGON overload. And, those people will just lower the quality of the presentation, thereby cutting out all of your work.

I'd rather have the mapping people work on clever new map designs, with interesting flight paths, hidden secrets, and lots of room for skillful flying.
